Dear Subscribers and Friends,
Many of you have been part of my journey since my congressional campaign, and later, the formation of the Andy's Fight PAC. I am writing to share a significant update regarding Andy's Fight, and I want to personally explain the reasoning behind this decision. After careful consideration and consultation, I have decided to transition Andy's Fight from a Political Action Committee (PAC) to a 501(c)(4) social advocacy organization.
The reason for this transition is to expand the scope and impact of our advocacy efforts beyond influencing elections. As a 501(c)(4) organization, Andy’s Fight will have more flexibility in engaging in activities that can directly influence legislation, public policy, and public opinion. It simply better positions us to undertake broader advocacy initiatives and to launch grassroots campaigns to promote the cause and mission of Andy's Fight.
It is essential to clarify that while our tax-exempt classification changes, our core mission and dedication to fighting to end the dangerous effects of "Guns & Google" remain unwavering:
TO LOBBY FOR LEGISLATION THAT RESULTS IN A REDUCTION OF SENSELESS VIOLENCE, WHERE TECHNOLOGY PLATFORMS PRIORITIZE SAFETY, AND WHERE RESPONSIBLE GUN OWNERSHIP IS UPHELD.
Thank you for your continued support and belief in Andy's Fight. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we aim to serve.
With gratitude,
Andy
P.S. Andy's Fight will always be transparent in its endeavors and will keep you informed about all our programs, initiatives, and impact.
